The D60 is Nikon 's new 10-megapixel entry-level digital SLR. It takes over from the D40x and, outwardly, it's very similar. Under the skin, though, there are some significant improvements. Fun
The D60 is an old and discontinued camera, it can't record video at all. The D90, while still being very good for photography, is not good at video either. Whoever said something about field range likely had no idea what he is talking about.

It is a bit difficult to choose in Nikon D60 vs Nikon D3000 due to the same features they both possess and miss. But still, Nikon D3000 is better than Nikon D60. Nikon D3000 has a bigger screen size and better screen resolution, more focus points, and a self-timer.
